Inclusion and S.E.N.D.

Inclusion and SEND

High Quality Teaching is the best starting point for all pupils, including those who have special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). We work to ensure that all staff in the school are able to identify and provide for those pupils who have special educational needs or disabilities, so that all pupils are able to access the curriculum and join in the activities of the school.  The staff and governors of Bredbury Green Primary and Resourced Nursery also work to ensure that all pupils, including those with SEND, reach their full potential, are fully included within the school community and are able to make a successful transition to their next school or setting.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding your child, please discuss them first with your child’s class teacher.  Other key people you might want to speak to after this are:

  • Mrs Sharon Stewart, Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo)
  • The Link Governor for SEND
  • The Link Governor for Looked After Children

All children feel anxious at some point during their school experience, this is a normal part of development.
As parents we worry about how to help.
Below is a link to a website which provides a parents guide to childhood anxiety.
